PAST: Previously, I made my last major revision of this site nearly 2 years ago. Each main page after the Home Page has navigation links added at the bottom to quickly move around the site. The Family Tree portion has slightly different navigation links. The links along the left border are for navigating the family tree, while the links along the bottom are for returning to other sections of the main site. I moved the personal photo's of our immediate family to our personal home page in order to concentrate on posting photo's of more general interest here on the Clan page.
PRESENT: I upgraded my copies of Genealogy software, added some utilities, and have finally gotten around to using them. I have finally updated the Family Tree pages as it has been almost two years since I posted a new version. I added in some family members from my mother's side of the family and did some editing. I have added a feedback page for you to easily leave me comments about the site. I would really appreciate you taking a quick look around the site, and let me know what you think.
I have joined several "webrings", which are groups of websites with a common theme. This allows you to simply go to the next member of the ring and know that it will have content on a similar theme to the previous site. By clicking on the "here" link on the main page just under the webring banner, you will be taken to a list of the rings that I have joined.
FUTURE: As time goes on, I will continue to work on the site. I plan on adding a "search" function to make it easier to look for a specific individual, city, county, etc. I plan on adding a "guest book" so that I have some idea of who is using the site, and I hope to add a "discussion forum" where people can leave questions for other family members, discuss research problems, announce new findings, etc. Again, use the feedback to let me know what you would like to see on the site.
Most of all, use and enjoy the site. I'm trying to keep the main elements of the website working while all this construction is going on. So for the moment, just bear with me and check back every couple of days to see what has changed.
