Beulah died as a result of an accident. She was cooking on the old woodbu rning stove one morning when her dress caught fire. This happened short ly after Keith Scott McHaney had married Alberta Betty Brown. They were l iving in the house with Rollin and Beulah.

When the dress caught fire, Beulah screamed and my mother Alberta Betty Mc Haney ran down the stairs. Alberta tried to put the fire out, but Beul ah told her to get away cause she didn't want her clothes to catch fir e. As a result, Beulah started running away from Alberta until she fell d own and died.
