OBITUARY:

Margie E. Livesay ,65, Granite City died Tuesday at the St. Elizaberths Ho spital in Granite City. She was born June 12, 1921 in North Carolin a. On February 23, 1944 in Durham N.C. she married Clarence R. Livesay.

Survivors include her husband, sons Clarence R. Livesay Jr., Granite Cit y, and John Vaughn, Durham. Daughters Frances Marie Sorsby, Blue Spring s, Penny O'Shia, Redlands Calif, Jeannie Strubinger, Colorado and Phyll is Haley, Mountain Home Ak., sisters Doris Johnson, Durham and Gladys Jone s, San Antonio, Tx., 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs Livesay lived in Salem from 1955 to 1959. She was a homemaker and w as of the Methodist faith.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at the Cox and Martin, and Day Fune ral Home in Patoka. William Mullis will officiate. Visitation is schedul ed for Friday from 5-9 at the funeral home and Saturday until the ti me of service. Burial will be in the Patoka Cemetery.

She was married to Clarence Robert Livesay on 23 Feb 1944.⁽³⁾⁽⁴⁾ Children were: Clarence Robert Jr. Livesay, Frances Marie Livesay , Penny Lou Livesay, Jeannie Kay Livesay.
