husbnd. Mrs MARION MOORE, on her DAR papers, shows her as MARTHA WARD
McHaney. I can find nothing with this name, only as Martha Ann
McHaney. Mrs. Moore gave middle names for most of An- drew's
children, but I have found nothing to verify this. She ob- tained her
info from correspondence with two ladies who were sup- posedly close
kin to Andrew's childen. Ahe corresponded with them since about 1927.
Perhaps there was a family bible but no one seems to know about it or
any proof of these middle names. It was un- common to give so many
middle names then. According to Mrs Moore Andrew's son was WILLIAM
LAFAYETTE SAUNDERS CROSS McHaney. I have only found him as William
Lafayette. Need proof of these middle names.!Married PLEA TOLBERT. They h ad seven children. Two died as infants.
Others were: ORA, JESSIE, MILTON, GEORGE, AGNES, WILL. Believe they
lived in Omaha, NEB.

RAMSEY RESIDENT DIES
WEDNESDAY AT AGE 77

Mrs Sylvia Muck, 77, Ramsey, died at 3 PM Wednesday Feb, 17 in Fayette Cou nty Hospital.

Surviving are her husband, Henry; daughters Mrs Pansy Raffel of Ramsey, M rs Teresa Norton of Tiskilwa, son George of Galesburg, brothers Edward McH aney of Clinton, William of Salem, George of Springfield, James of Houst on Texas, sister Mrs Marde Jett of Odin and other relatives including fo ur grandchildren.

Mrs Musk was a member of East Zion Church at Patoka.

Services at 1 PM Saturday in Sturgell Funeral Home, Ramsey with Rev. Stone burner of Herrick Officiant. Burial in Fredonia Cemetery near Patoka.

Mr. and Mrs Muck were united in marriage in 1903. Her parents were the la te George McHaney and Rachel Meador McHaney. She was born Dec. 17, 18 82 in Marion County, however for quite some time she and her family had be en residents of Ramsey area. Parents: George R Mchaney and Rachael Meador.

OBITUARY

ODIN -- Maud L. Jett, of Odin died at 7 am yesterday at St. Marys Hospita l. Mrs Jett was born in Marion County, the daughter of George W. and Rach el (Meador) McHaney. On Dec. 10, 1908 she married George W. Jett, who di ed in December of 1964. Surviving are three sons, Alva Jett, Everett Je tt and James Jett, all of Patoka; 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildr en and 12 great-great grandchildren

Mrs Jett was a member of the Marshall Creek Baptist Church and a lifelo ng Odin area resident, she was a homemaker.

Rev. Charles Kretzer will officiate at funeral services at the Wilson Fune ral Home in Odin at 2 pm tomorrow. Interment will follow at the Marsha ll Creek Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 pm today. Parents: George R Mchaney and Rachael Meador.
